I am a research engineer at Daimler R&D in Stuttgart, Germany. As a member of the LiDAR systems group I am engaged in the development of advanced LiDAR-based environment perception and scene understanding components for autonomous vehicles.

From 2012 to 2015 I was with Daimler R&D’s Computer Vision and Image Understanding group, working towards my PhD degree in collaboration with the VSI lab at Goethe University Frankfurt. During that time I developed high-precision stereoscopic object detection and localization methods for applications in advanced driver assistance systems.

I obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Graz University of Technology, Austria, and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Cranfield University, UK.
